Public Morals on TNT

Standard

Last night was the season finale of my Fall show, Public Morals. The 1960’s New York City setting made for some fun and creative social content. I’m especially proud of our weekly newspaper episode recaps. I was a print journalism major in college, and it’s not too often that I get to write a headline these days. Here are a few of my favorites!

Pink Boss Feature

Standard

Now that I’ve taken a year to relax after completing my Master’s, I’ve decided to work my way back into the world of freelance writing.

My friend, Vanessa, CEO of Pink Boss, was kind enough to feature me on her blog this month. TWICE. If you’re ever looking for guidance in getting your entrepreneurial idea off the ground, Vanessa is your girl.

Check out my two posts (I made the graphics as well!):

For those of you who don’t know me, Jeff and I have been together for 3.5 years now. We met in Orlando while we were both participating in the Disney Professional Internship Program. He happened to be my downstairs neighbor :-).

However, we didn’t start dating until the program was complete and I moved back home to Atlanta. We’ve stayed together through multiple moves (on Jeff’s end), jobs and two Master’s degrees (he just defended his thesis!).

We were back in Orlando this weekend for a friend’s wedding and decided to make it a long weekend. Jeff popped the question Sunday, March 22 at our old apartment complex. Naturally, we then went and celebrated with tacos and a margarita.

I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with this man!

A Graduation

Standard

I am so excited to announce that I have (FINALLY) completed my Master’s in Public Relations at Kent State University. Two years flew by – although some weeks it didn’t feel that way!

You may view my final portfolio HERE. I’m particularly proud of my paper on The Coca-Cola Company and their WWII PR campaign. As a native-Atlantan, this company will always hold a spot in my heart.

The big question is: What will I do with all my newfound free time? TBD.

A Summer Update

Standard

Hi all,

It’s been a busy summer! My job kicked into high gear this summer with three season premieres in June. Check out what I’ve been working on HERE.

I also started uploading my projects from my Master’s program to my portfolio so that everyone can view my hard work. Don’t let the boring titles scare you off. They’re interesting, I promise! See them HERE.

Hope everyone is staying cool this summer, or more importantly DRY. Georgia has certainly been rainy.

Until next time!

Marianne
